Racing

Hi guys,

Although i would love to do powerboat racing, i cant ever see it actually happening, but i was just wondering how you get started? Do you use your own boat? Can anyone enter a race? Do you need special training?

As i said, this thread is more just to see how it is all done, rather than actually setting myself up for doing it

Specifically: Here on Boatmad In addition I have been racing for a number of years and I would love to help in any way - I know it can be daunting!

You can email me at Cookee@bananasharkracing.com or ask questions on here if you don't mind others reading about your plans! Good luck

Cookee, thanks for that link - it was really usefull! I don't think i am actually going to seriously consider doing it, but just having the background info is useful (especially when i change my mind!) P.s. Your boat looks AMAZING (even if it doesn't have tubes!)
