PWC (jet ski endorsment)

Hi All I know this is not conventional RIB territory but I want to do my PWC (Jet Ski) endorsement to my RYA powerboat instructor ticket. Anyone know where
A)
I can get the course cheep. Plas meni (sorry if spelt wrong and you live there) does it as a two day course but I am in the SW and North Wales is a long way.
B)
I can hire beg borrow a jet ski to take to cal shot who will do the course but do not have the equipment.

Thanks

The person to go to is Paul Mara at Guardian Marine Services. There are only a few Trainers who do this, he's Chatham based, details on the RYA site.

I suspect you may be able to do it at other locations with Paul anyway.

See Jono Gorton.........

who's the Principle at Professional Powerboat Training based in Pwllheli North Wales. It may be a bit of a drive but he's a cracking fella, has some superb boats, bags of experience and will look after you extremely well.

He posts on line so I'm sure you'll find him.

Indeed I believe Jono does run a very good school but as i read it dgpw wants a PWC Instructor endorsement rather than a PWC course. These endorsements are run by only a handful of Trainers rather than schools

I'm unsure..........

No doubt Jono will view this tread at some point and revert as appropriate.

thanks for your kind words, but we do offer the PWC instructor endorsment. Arwyn Thomas has now left Plas and does work for me on occasion.

We will be running one of these in the short future but fear as we are not far from Plas the distance may be a problem and our pricing for this course is £695 with one of our PW's.

Believe Plas are struggling for trainers now Arwyn has left.
