A bit of an update. Transom is now completed and cut for an XL engine. Knees extended up to provide more support.
Transom flow coated on the inside and gel coated on the outside.Click image for larger version

Console a bit further forward too.

This is so over specd it’s ridiculous. I have completed the wiring and tested it with my desktop power supply. With everything on full send incl vhf/stereo/lights/gps/gauges and bilge pump the total current draw is 9 amps. One of those red wires on the fuse panel will carry 21 amps.

Granted the bilge pump wasn’t pumping water but even still.

-ve busbar for bilge pump, fuel gauge, nav lights.

Extended the Yamaha Command Hub to the Garmin to supply engine data but I’ve also managed to link the Garmin to the Yamaha gauges via NMEA 0183 to supply a gps signal for fuel consumption/speed/time etc. The fuel management gauge will also read fuel level.

Fuel filter is also in the console. Bracket required so I didn’t need to drill through console and have a couple of random bolt heads showing.

3.2mm galvy plate with two 8mm studs welded to it. Nylon block to space filter away from console and to clear the wiring.

Super neat. I remain in awe of wiring jobs that space and provide clarity re what is where. All jobs should be like this [emoji106]

Hi A1an
Great thread but how did you reinstate the triangle transom supports after cutting them away to put the extended transom in
Cheers Kevin

New knees were grafted to the existing knees down to the stringers in the bilge well.

Strength comes from the glass.

Mocking up. The standard console/pod spacing from Ribcraft seem very tight, too tight for my liking so they’ve been spaced to my requirements. Click image for larger version

One hose for steering hoses, one for engine. There will be two deck glands on the face of the box, one gland will serve the bilge pump and transducer (both in the bilge well) and the other to supply the A frame.
