Been making dinghies for about 30 years, made the BWM ribs for years and now have there own models.

They also make the Tohatsu range of RIBs.

I've had my Porters for a couple of years now and I'm really pleased with it - they're not going to win any fashion parades but they're built well.

I'd agree with GuyP. I have a 6.5 Porters and its a really solid boat. I was pleasantly surprised; we got some dingies repaired by Ian Porter once and the quality wasn't great. Not the same with the RIBs though.

i've a 5m porters "rescue 5000" i think it's called.

nothing special for a 5m boat, but well built.
