Petrol

Drained the petrol from the carburettors (4 stroke)for the winter and it looks stained like well...pee!!
The petrol in the plastic tank is fine, still looks like it's fresh from the petrol station, all the rubber fuel pipes have been changed recently but as the boat's not been used that much does it get stale sitting in the carbs for a month or so?
I couldn't see any water settled out in the plastic pot.

Has anyone else had this....?

The only fuel I've seen that colour had been left in a metal boat tank for 15yrs... odd.
