Any of you North Eastern Ribnetters used the place?

This is possibly one of my crazier plans, but I will be in Dyce with work next week for 2 nights, and in a twist of coincidence the central heating boiler in the house needs it's annual service. Where this is going is do I take my boat with me?

Initial look at the tide tables seems to kill off almost any of the small old harbours & slips which appear to all be "1/4 tide" - not much use with LW being C. 20:00.- and looks like it's going to be springs!

So, the best slip I can find on boatlaunch shows 1/2 tide, but as getitng out of Dyce is bad enough without a boat hanging off the back of the car, so I don't reckon this idea will be feasible - especially when daylight is also thrown into the mix....

So, does anyone know of a LW useable slip in the area? Ideally north of Aberdeen (so I don't end up just dying of boredom on Anderson Drive!)

I have the nagging feeling this plan may be totally foiled by the tides.
