outboardcovers.co.uk

Hi,

Has anyone had any dealings with them ? Does anyone know of any other companies that offer the same service ?

Looking for a neoprene or similar cover for a 250 ETec... mostly to be used when in storage, but I notice some covers that you can keep on during use ?

Thanks in advance

These are the best on the market in my humble opinion, we have used about five so far and we keep them on throughout use, prevents fading, and expensive engine covers (circa £1200 for a damaged cowling), there are a few forum notes you can find on searches about them.

I would recommend without a second thought. This is definately a case of you pay for what you get.
High quality and a back up service that is also very good
Regards
Steve

They are really good, not the cheapest but they will outlast all the others!

Strongly recommend the product. The above testimonials are all valid. I would have no hesitation in using them again.

I think (sorry, it came with the new boat and I'm still trawling through the manuals so eg the outboard manual is higher on my priority list than digging out the paperwork for the cover, which is refreshingly free from electronics, moving parts or corrosion...) that's what we have, and it's v good. My only quibble would be that if you are a weak and feeble female <bats eyelashes entirely unconvincingly> then it can be a bit of a pita to work the soggy cover up enough to pop the cowling off the engine. But I'm not planning to go out without he-Red for a while, so it's not a big deal.

Just ordered one... I past on the postive comments of the people above by name (may save you a few quid next time!) and I also got free postage for being a member of RIB NET !

James the MD is extremely efficient and I'm looking forward to seeing the finished article !

Just wanted to add my comments about outboard covers.co.uk!

Totally amazing, I got the full cover and splash cover, and they fit and look amazing! The full cover keeps the motor clean and dust free when its stored in the barn, and also adds some protection when towing!

Also top feedback about James - always kept unto date and nothing has seemed too much!

Well worth the money!

Mines arrived and looks great. But as the cowlings been off many MANY times for repairs since I've had it... I'm not bothering to put the cover on

I ordered one for my 9.8 Tohatsu, easy to order, got a discount for being a ribneter, they kept me posted with its progress and it showed up yesterday.

Its too cold to mess about with at the moment, but it looks like a lovely product.

I will update this page with how it fits...
