outboard scam

Anyone noticed the too good to be true outboards on boats and outboards, pair of optimax, pair of fourstroke yam,s new fourstroke yam 90 etc.All at amazing prices, I called one of the numbers and got a local football club in Leeds!. If you mail you get guided to this site http://www.aquatrix.co.cc/ they are also in the classified sections of this months boating mag's.

I just asked about an outboard that was too good to be true and was this mob.
They weren't even consistent in the ad and answer

.cc is the domain registration for the Cocos (Keeling) Islands, an Australian territory. I think the boating press and reputable retail websites should take more care over who they accept advertising from.

Nick, agreed. In this case however I replied to what appeared to be a private ad on B&O, the email reply driected me to their website and the .cc domain. When I went to find the ad again it had been pulled, I'm outboard shopping at the moment and scan B&O daily, I've reported about 6 scams all of which have been pulled within 24 hrs.
