Osprey Sparrowhawk advise?!

Hello everybody,

on Saturday i will check out a 95/96's Sparrowhawk.
I found several Information about the Boat here in the Forums but i would like to know wich points i need to pay attention. Are there any known Issues or can you give advise?

At present i'm using a SR 47 and i think the step to the Sparrowhawk give us a bit more performance at bad weather conditions.

Kind Regards - Wolfgang from Germany

Thanks Kerny,

there is also some information about the boat here in the forum. I've seen all but I would imagine that there are certain sensitive points on a Hardnose RIB. Remember, it is from 1996 and wil not have new Boat scent ;-)

There probably is something wrong with it, hopefully minor, it is 18 years old after all

I guess the lack of response tells you there isn't some recurring, systematic fault which is common or unique to Sparrowhawks. As Biffer suggests ANY boat of that age could have issues, and of course how serious they are will depend on how it has been used, maintained, stored, and even who rigged it originally (or in any refit).
