O.r.d.a.

Offshore Racing Drivers Association

At our recent AGM / Drivers forum I agreed to become Chairman of ORDA and would liek to let all RIB racers know that we will be staging teh first National race of the season at Torquay on our normal end of May slot.

You will see some changes and new courses. We are also hopeful of raising teh profile and having some filming at the event.

Whilst we will try to improve events we need more co-operation from competitors and would like to have input from them - so now is your opportunity!

Looking forward to some great racing
Adam

Adam, good luck in your new post.

As a spectator what is needed is lots of publicity. You could start by adding this years races to the Ribnet Calendar.

Adam can you confirm the date please?

Also any more details?
Especially TV coverage and how about a boat parade?

If you need local help I live about 40 minutes away from Torquay and I can lend a hand if needed?

Hi Cookee

Torquay will be over the weekend of May 28 / 29th.

Just had a committee meeting of ORDA last night and started our plans for the event. All very positive and really trying to make an event of it rather than just a race.

Will be visiting Torquay soon to go over some of our plans and see what is possible.

Will be in touch

Adam
