Hi neilda she is kept in Gosport but also plan to take her don in the Summer to the West country & leave her there for a few weeks Salcombe, Dartmouth way.

How long will it take you to get to Salcombe? That sounds like a fun trip - but a fair jaunt, particularly if going solo....

We should try to hook up, I'm new to all this too and keep mine opposite yours (I'm in KB Boatyard on the Camber).

Gossy. Is your's that grey Revenger in Haslar?

I'm based in Gunwharf - we do the RIB trips and charter from there. We've got two boats out this weekend (Thunderbird 3 and Revolution) - give us a wave if you see us coming and going

PS. I too am planning to do Portsmouth -> Salcombe and Plymouth over the course of the summer. Should be a fun trip!

Trip down to Salcombe area may have to be on trailer due to time / work restrictions will look closer nearer the time, done the trip on motorboat many times. Looks like we have got beginnings of a little flotilla from the Gosport / Camber area then… Our rib is blue tubes but may look a little greyish as not new & a bit sun faded, one job this weekend to give her a bit of ribshine on the tubes.

You have to name your boat first!

Sounds like a meet should be planned at the Folly one fine day.......

Season? Wait until Gossy gets a few scoops into himself again...

Still, he can show neilda how to raft and neilda can show him how a Man Works a Winch

Since my shoulder fell off in the Solent last year, I'm not convinced about my winching power at the moment!

I'll give you all a wave if I see anyone tomorrow. I'll be launching from Haslar at about 10ish to do some fishing with my Son. We'll be catching bait at Fort No Mans Land and then cruising over to a mark off of Wooten. Keep an eye out for my RIBnet burgee.

Sorry Andy, must have missed you today, we came the long way back from yarmouth this morning and came past the forts about 12.30.

couldnt believe the difference when we got to Bembridge, all the way around the back of the island it was flat calm, soon as we got to Bembridge and through the solent it was lumpy and horrible!!

Hope the fishing was good? there seems to be loads of boats out!

We didn't see anyone we knew. We were there at Fort No Mans Land, South of the Channel. The only RIB that came near was a Brig with a 200 verado on the back, look quite beamy boats.

Anyway the Mackerel where slow and only managed 3, run out of time to go fishing proper, so had some fun with the Ferries instead

Did spy an old Cira WWII MTB without the torpedo tubes on. And went over to say Hi to a load of girls celebrating a Hen do on a Thames style barge.
