New Rib

OK, here's a common question that usually has a load of answers/opinions. Looking at changing my RIB, budget c25K. Like the look of a 3 year old Shearwater 750 cabin RIB for sale at the moment but don't know much about them other than the manufacturer's web site.

Also looked at a Ribcraft 6.5m at the boat show last year, appeared well made but pricey and a little heavy? Happy to buy used up to 7.5m.

Needs to be comfortable for days when I am accompanied by "the boss" but also enjoy a blast when out with the kids.

Any suggestions welcome. Thinking about dry stacking as a storage option.

Thanks

Give Jim at Bembridge Outboards a call.

I bought my RIB from him and have found them a very nice firm to deal with. He will tell you all you need to know about the Shearwaters.

Thanks, have done just that and very helpful. Seems this was the only 750 they made (ie was their test boat) and from that decided they wanted more room and focussed on the 860 hull.
