Slide it off onto some old tyres - use the winch around one of the cross members of the trailer to pull it off ..............

If putting the boat on the ground (plenty of carpet on grass) or onto tyres is a bit daunting and you simply must have water to drop into take a look at www.boatlaunch.co.uk to find the nearest slip suitable for what you want to do. You might be better off trailing a little further and making a day of it (take the tool box) and that way you can see how the trailer holds up too.

Two blokes can lift a bare SR4 no problemo. In fact, I flipped and re-trailered our's with the aid of a couple of young teenagers only.

If you can handle a drive then the slipway at Bristol Marina is excellent and easy to use. It never gets to busy and is ideal for trailer set up.
