Doesn't look like Jimbo and my costumes are going to materialise now. We were planning Nelson and a dolphin but work has sort of taken over....

See you all tonight!

Pink Cummerbunds! now you're talking Sir Mark!

As to whether your thongs fit you or not ...expect feedback from the 12 ladies !
  • The Church is resigned to the fact that 36 of us will potentially show up tonight
  • In various types of regalia (so sad the Pompey student cossies won't work out)
  • Some of you will need to pay the deposit to me as I paid for 30 peeps.
  • All balances will then be paid to the pub.
  • A kitty may be the best thing for drinks?
  • Kevin (Aging Youth) will take over the overseeing of the financial affairs before we all get too 'merrie'
  • Various MC jobs will be done in a highly disorganised fashion after dinner. This will be kicked off by Nasher himself
  • Some very unique (not even to be found on e-bay) prizes will be awarded.
  • In addition to the other financial issues of the evening you will have to bring £2 (that's two pound coins per person ) to help finance the extraordinary prizes. If we get organised enough, there may be a collection box for same
We wish you a Merry Christmas!

Great night thanks to all involved.

Also thanks to jimbo for the lift home and a special thanks to Tim, for vomitting all over Jims car and making us all throw up!! Jim is now on the way home with all windows down trying not to throw up with the smell. Ricky's award gift, a rather strong girls body spray was really useful as we attempted to mask the smell of partially digested turkey and a right mix of drink!! HE ONLY HAS ONE SHANDY!!

Once again the Portsmouth students have left their mark on a RIBnet event.

I would like it on record that in the case of Tim, I'm not angry.

I'm just disappointed!

I felt this wasn't ribs and ribbing - so have put a full post of the journey back in other stuff!

God rest ye Merrie (Ladies and )Gentlemen

We had a wonderful time. Many thanks for a great evening

Pauly was busy with the camera but it needs to be recorded that he shared an award with two absent friends Robin and Tony : The Monthly Feck-Up Award (beautifully made by Andy Hightower : class) for Environmental Services : i.e. dredging local harbours.

Lots of highlights of the night (will remember once we sort photos) but certainly the effort made with the outfits was truly amazing : everything from Black Tie & Lovely Dresses to 'I'm too Cool For Crimbo' black outfits...and here's the amazing bit : DRYSUITS, WETSUITS AND SURFING USA SHORTS!!!!!

Some peeps travelled from afar also : not only the wonderful Littlehampton lot led by Wise Man Andre but also of course Solent regular Bogib and his son Jon Baldur.

Loads more to report but work calls. Thanks again : especially for the wonderful surprises

Magic

Vivienne and I had a wonderful night.

Thanks to Nasher for giving his name but very little else to the night. I hope you got to Heathrow safely this morning.

Thanks to Martin and Anto for organising the menu etc.
Thanks to A.Y. for keeping all but Tim M under control.

Thanks to Missus, for services above and beyond the call of duty, and for redistributing a load of surplus hair styling products.

And finaly....
Thanks to everyone else for coming along. I would have been very dull if you hadn't. It was a great pleasure to meet all your "ribbing widows."
Merry Christmas
