Nasher's 2006 Solent Christmas Do!!!

The weather is due to hit 20 degrees locally today!!! But thoughts turn to the deep and crisp and even days ahead.

Discussion at the Churchillian last night turned to the Annual Christmas Gathering to which all are welcomed in the spirit of RIBnet and good cheer

Kevin (Aging Youth) did his usual top job of liaising with The Management of the Churchillian and the following date suited all attendees last night.

Friday December 15th : 7.31 pm

To begin to reserve your place please post here or send pm. An address will be sent to you to which your deposit must be sent.

Deposits must be placed asap and this year the suggested amount of £10.00 PER HEAD (i.e. £20 per couple perleeese) will secure your booking. At the end of the day, secured places will be filled on a first-come, first served basis as the hostelry can cater only for 36 places (40 at a pinch) on the night. Full amount of charge is £21.95 pp/balance to be paid on the night.

Further info will be added on this thread as soon as other Good Ideas are suggested!!!

Nobby with no 'Mates' is a bit dodgy these days Andy if you don't know her very well. Might end up with more than you bargained for.

Try Durex instead.

Xmas Dinner

Hi All,

Wow! what a tremendous response, you all never cease to amaze me with your support of each other. This WILL BE a fabulous night out for all.

I would like to suggest the same dress code as for last year with all Guy's & Doll's in their best " Bib & Tucker". Gentlemen this means more than jeans & T Shirts

Paul & Kathleen can you post the menu ASAP. As I will need to liase with the Management as to numbers & menu selection.

Please PM me if you need any info.

Cheers

Agreed Kev. Nasher has Spoken! But last year also included the option of RIB gear where surely Sarah was the most attractive RIBster ever seen in that outfit! And you can't get Nautibuoy in long trousers for all the beer in Lloyds Bar!!! Maybe next year when he's in Year Seven !!! Also Scottish Members have the option of Kilts of course (which will need hem-weights (please pm her Majesty The Queen for where to buy) as it gets mighty windy on Potsdown Hill especially after a few beers !!!!!!

Shall dig out menu and post before the sun is over the yardarm this very day Kevin !!!
