Getting there!! First day on the water, we had the wrong prop but the correct one is on order. We tried a 19 but I need a 21 as she is light! With the 19 she was maxed out at 40 knots but reeving up to 6200!

Thanks, still got quite a bit of work but slowly getting there. At the moment there is no latch its just gravity holding it shut, another thing on the jobs list to address!

I agree, it the one part of the boat I am not totally happy with. Its what the designer came up with so I will finish it off and see how it works functionally and aesthetically. It looks wrong at the moment but I think it will look better with the seats on..
The boat has been designed as a sail coach boat, so I need lots of room down the sides to put sails, booms etc. I run a sailing campaign which has a Rib Quest 7.3 although its a good rib, functionally its useless due to the lack of room down the sides for sails and the like! Plus with the Suzuki 225 on the back of it we burn about £100+ of fuel a day!
