Model RIBs

As per my thread in the trade section, a while ago I started making models for training aids.

While I plan to keep that thread updated with photos of builds, JK suggested I post on here and get some feedback on the products.

Our core build is a RIB and trailer combo, sometimes with a Landrover tow vehicle....

It would be great to hear your views, they have proved popular not only with instructors but also lifeboats, Police and sea safari operators.

The models look good, I am sure there are training organisation, kids and adults the world over who would like one.

I’m sure it would help me concentrate if I had one on my home desk.

Love them! If they were child friendly I’d get one for my son! (And me [emoji23]).

I’ve always wondered about making a remote control toy rib as well - maybe I’m next few years when little one is a bit older.

Have you thought about putting the right lights in them? Seems like a room with all the lights off could be a good way to train for night nav with some tiny Leds...
