Midnight Express

My friend bought an Osprey Lynx 26 RIB, see pictures below. The name was/is Midnight Express.
Does anyone know this boat, has information on the history, got any pictures or videos? He would be very grateful.

Thanks Mark for asking.

I have recently bought the old MIDNIGHT EXPRESS, A Osprey Lynx 26, I know that the rib is used for racing, and I will try to bring the boat back in her original setup.

So I am searching for pictures and old film of the boat wile she was racing.
If anyone has something in his of her archive, then I would be glad if I can have them.

I have already ask Brugge Marine Center for these pictures, because I know that the rib was used for racing by them.
But they did not response.

If anyone knows of the rib is also used by A other team please let me know.

Igor.

I believe this boat belonged to a guy called Rob Bennie about 5 years ago who was the owner of Ocean adventures marine who built the Aquaflyte rib, the last time it was around it looked like it had had a hard life and i think there was some kind of structural damage to the hull too.

That is correct, the hull was cracked at the spray rails, but the hull is repaired now.

See photo’s..

The deck is taken out and the stringers are removed, and that section of the hull is rebuild again. After several day work the hull is now in perfect condition.
