McGard prop lock removal

For anyone trying to remove one of these stupid things:


If you take a 24mm socket and modify it like so:


You can then give it a few whacks with a hammer before winding it straight off with an impact gun.



I spent a couple of hours trying to get mine off today following YouTube ideas (it was pretty seized on the shaft) before trying this and it came off on the first attempt.
