Lymington mooring

Hello,
Please can anyone advise where I can moor an 8 metre rib in Lymington for the day whilst we have lunch in the town.
Many thanks

We typically use either the Town Quay or the Dan Bran pontoon, both operated by the harbour master. Town Quay is right up in town, so is my preferred option if possible, but Dan Bran is maybe just a 10 min walk down the river.

Town Quay is typically first come, first served I believe, but Dan Bran takes bookings for big sailing rallies, etc., so can sometimes be fully allocated in advance. If you know what day you're planning to go, you can always phone the harbour master in advance and check if there's any major events/block bookings.

We generally use town quay, lots of craft overnight, new visitors pontoons coming for 2020

I live in Lymington but for the summer our Rib goes on the Harbour Masters pontoon, along side the slipway. Ring the office and book yourself a slot for the day... easier to get in and out from than the town quay, where you will normally be rafted with yachts staying for longer...

How much are the harbour masters pontoons? Any trouble with theft?

Sorry for the delay.... haven’t checked back in for a while! About £20 a night, but various special offers for longer. I’ve had not problems with security, and where I berth isn’t behind a security pontoon gate - but there is new cctv and during daylight hours the harbour masters are constantly on that pontoon.
