Looking for my next Rib

Hi, After 4 full seasons with our lovely Avon 490 I am now looking for the next step up which should be around 6 meters, a Deep V , Around 115 HP engine to enable us to challenge the choppy solent a bit more as we can now .... Budget around £18K and looking at Osprey Vipermax 5.8, Ribcraft 5.8, Ribeye and also interested to see what people on here think about Ballistic ....

There's a RC 585 with a 125 mariner for sale on Facebook. It's being sold by Alex Hutchings who is "whisper" on here. Top bloke & cracking boat. It's around £14k iirc

Thanks Dave, Certainly the right size and make ...I would prefer a bench seat at the back but also understand that is not always available ...

Speak to Alex, he may be able to sort the seating out to your spec. The problem with buying second hand, is that unless you are extremely lucky you won't find the exact spec you're looking for.

I have got a 2015 5.5m Ballistic with a Yam F70. It has a rear bench for 3, two side-by-side jockeys and a forward seat. Great boat and I have never had any problems in the Solent chop. I got it from JBT Marine in Portsmouth and I can see they have a 2009 5.5 with Evinrude ETEC 90 on for £15K on their website. I found them very easy to deal with and whilst Ballistics are their thing, they do seem to have a range of other Ribs too..
