London Boat Show Tickets

Due to people dropping out I have two spare tickets for the London Boat Show. These are valid for entry any day except the preview day.

I will be going to the show on Friday, arriving by 10AM if somebody wants to meet me then you can have the tickets for free.

Or if you want to go another day then I can post them to you.

First sensible reply in this forum gets them.

Don't forget to leave your contact details.

I'll have plenty of room to look round by the looks of things. There'll only be me, the Troll and PD there on Saturday.

And how can one feel lonely with caring friends as fellow RIBnet members such as you?

Looks as though I can get to go to ExCeL this year!

Car or Train? (Oh or RIB)

Is it worth driving? How easy is it to get to?

Anyone been there before?

I was hoping to drive as I've lots of goodys lined up

Didn't really relish the Idea of lugging lots of expensive equipement around on trains.

Didn't have a particular day in mind! Thought a Sat. would be good (gives me a day to play with my new gear).

I did hear that the bargains to be had would be towards the end of the show, but I've never been, so wouldn't have a clue.

It would be nice to meet up though!

What part of Fareham do you live? I'm from Ranvilles area.

Excel is easy peasy to drive to - if you are coming from the North or East that is! So from Essex I am definately driving. Only worry is the parking at the show but they do have 5000 spaces so should be OK!

Top tip if you are not going til next week and want cheaper tickets is to phone 0115-912-9111 quote the "Daily Telegraph offer" and get a fiver off per ticket (so £7). They promise 72 hr delivery.

Crazy Canadian and myself are going weekend after next as I'm sure my sister would get upset if we missed her wedding this weekend! If anyone is interested in meeting up on 17 or 18th let me know.

Thanks for the tip Alan, that's what I'll probably do. As for driving I've just had a look at the map and it does indeed look easy, so I guess I'll be getting up early in the morning.
