We had two tickets offered by one exhibitor for the preview day and I must admit this year's LBS is much better than last year; or at least we enjoyed it more! There are a few boats moored outside in the dock but the majority of the boats are all inside.
There are very good deals on Electronics and other bits and pieces and I managed to grab a Icom M35 for just £125!
Apart from big motor cruiser manufacturers, you find Hydromax, Piranha Ribs, Cobra (with their twin 300hp Yamaha set up!), Ribeye, XS ribs, and Rib-X and of course Avon.
There were a few more Ribs which were less known to me, like C-Fury.
Also, there are so many SIBS; Tohatsu, Excel, Zodiac, Wetline, and loads more...
The new Garmin Tracker for boats is really cool
https://buy.garmin.com/shop/shop.do?cID=387&pID=67686 :
The device works similar to all other tracking devices, but has a battery life of 30 days, sends a message if the battery is about to run out, and you can define a zone so in case the device is outside that zone it keeps tracking and sends update:
!
. Very handy and useful and can be left charging or disconnected.
The photo shows a mini Ribeye next to the Ribeye stand!
