Leafield c7 valve

Hi all
Maiden voyage on the rib and they valve popped off the front part of my Avon 620.the screw in part fell on the floor and left a hole in the tube.
Question is can it be replaced easily by me or does it need to go to the shop. I know its a compression fitting but how is it tightened up properly then?

RIBase
You might also want a repair kit for that valve. The spring will eventually fail.
