Land Lubbers !

Hi All.

Just fitting a Plastimo 150 compass on the old girl. But...shock / horror !

Fitting instructions state the compass main lubber line be must strictly parallel to the boat bow and aft centre line.

My ribs consol bulkhead is offset to starboard slightly, would it make any real difference to navigation ?

The term that matters is " strictly parallel to the boat bow and aft centre line" not necasserily in line but parallel with thefore the heading is the same.

Hope this helps.
