I dont know whether our tides were out of the norm, but we had a very relaxing couple of hours. Came in and had 1.5m under the boat and about the same when we left.

Afterwards we even had time to troll up the river beyond the M27 to have a look around and then back down to Warsash to drop of our guests.

Had a great blast down the Solent with only slight chop and then once through Hurst, had the flattest sea I have seen this year, it really was like a mill pond.

Good to see the Jolly Sailor open again... I went up there on Saturday evening, got 3ft under me, but when we got to the jetty, there was a heavy metal band playing on the roof on the pub.. actually I could hear them all the way back up the creek, and they were loud... so we decided not to stop and have a beer... and before anyone says i'm getting old....I wouldn't of minded the loudness if there was a decent band on
