Looks to me like it's sat on a yard trailer just outside Portsmouth (big hill in picture with old chalk quarry, and opposite Port Solent). Porchester way...it's late and the name escapes me....it'll come back tomorrow, but google 'ribs for sale' and you will find it....

Yep, they spend 6 hours travelling to it each way to get as far as the lightship before they have to go back

Okay, so the jury s out. Maybe when I've cleared the necessary funds with the appropriations committee (ie the missus) then maybe it would be worth looking at. If it's still around.
I don't yet know whether I need a SIB or aRIB our something else entirely: but I have a notional bbudget of 5k. So we''ll see...
