French

Good to see the Dunkirk spirit is alive and well this side of the Channel though I see the Frogs are at their usual helpfull best . When the chips are down you can always rely on them to be at their most obstructive .
BBC news this morning quoting that ferry and tunnel prices are double coming back to UK .

We did the Calais to Dover Run yesterday two coded ribs collected 8 passengers. Quite good money but there appear to be enough tickets on the ferries now.

Was a bit different but a good day out!

cross channel with Dan Snow

Dan Snow on Sunday was bringing people back F.O.C., so the media says, but the authorities in France seemed to be putting a block on it that as soon as he started.
I suppose thats why he used the commercial boys with their fleet of RIBs at JM Yachting to do the trips for him, as I suppose he needed coded boats and all that Commercially Endorsed Skippers stuff. Great spirit, eh. Trust the French to spoil the party

I understand that the decision was made after consultation with the English Government/UKBA.
