Identifying which trailer bearings? Help?

Ok folks, so here we go.....

Have my new SR4 and now my questions really begin! Sorry if I'm asking some daft ones!

So my new SR4 came with an indespension roller coaster trailer. It needs new bearings.

I want to order from ebay etc as despite me having a trade acc. with local autofactors, they are still much much cheaper online.

Is there a way of figuring out what bearings I need? Would something on the trailer ID plate be used to help?

Or is it really a case of walking into autofactors with bearing in hand (as was told to do)?

Is this a non braked trailer with 'standard' hubs? If so pop the hub cap off the bearing. Take splitpin out, remove castle but and big washer. Clean up face of bearing. Chances are its engraved with a number...

Chances are is a standard 4 stud hub...

I'd put at least 10p on them being these:

Ebay item: 191584355532

Its often easier to swap the hub over and costs virtually no extra...

http://www.indespension.co.uk/bearin...raked-hub.html

Which you can get half the price on fleabay... 221288585092

Yep!!! And your right new hubs not much more. Bought locally...36 quid. Bit more expensive than ebay for same hubs but got them immediately. Old hubs well rusty so was good.move.

Cheers!

The hubs will fit your stub axle but now try fitting your wheel....
