Hypalon repair

Need to repair a small tear in a tube on Humber assault. I've established that its hypalon. Planning to repair today or tomorrow but concerned about whether the glue will work properly given current outside temperatures. No indoor facilities. Advice?

Thanks Jambo. No garage facilities available here. Sunny and dry tomorrow so going to take my chances. I can always replace the patch if it doesn't work.

Humidity is as much a concern as temperature (which is important too). Try for the driest time in the day when the sun has done what it can. Use a heat gun to warm the material (carefully ) and try to use something like a IR heater or lamp on the area until it gets a few hours of curing done. Keep the dew off it the next night.

Not a great plan, but better than hoping for the best...

Appreciate the advice. Very limited facilities here. I'm hoping direct sunlight on black tubes will do the trick. Clear skies 😀

Might tent it with a tarp and put a space heater under for a few hours.

Patch on in warm sunlight and now under the boat cover. Fingers crossed but won't be using boat for another two weeks so in suspense. Thanks for all the advice. Just about to ask for more advice on some worn seams!
