Hoping to be back....

Hello All!
I have not been to RIBnet for some time, a combination of house rebuilding (its a bit like the RIB; never quite finished) and not being too well. I have actually not put my Avon Searider 4 in the water for over 2 years!! But in that time I have managed to buy a 50HP Honda outboard to replace the 30. I bought it last year from a reputable dealer on E bay and at long last this week I have actually managed to hang it from the transom! All the gear has to be changed as I now have trim and tilt theres no doubt with an outboard this big you need it! I have really missed the banter on RIBnet and I can now see the differnce between here and other sites, it's quite simple everyone here is nice! (Try the Screwfix site if you ever want to know what NOT nice is!)
I am hoping to get back on the solent within the next couple of months, I still have a lot of electrics to sort out. But in the meantime to assist with finances I need to sell my Honda 30 HP outboard. It is getting on a bit but is in really good condition. First problem is how do I price it? Second problem where is the best place to sell it?
Any help would be much appreciated.
PS For anyone that remembers.. I've kept up my RNLI membership you never know...

Thanks JKY sadly you seem to be the only one!! Makes me feel a bit lonely as I was hoping for some help as well as a greeting! but you are very kind and the Good Lord permitting I may be around to say hello for a while longer!... mind you if I can't sell my outboard I could run short of motion lotion...!
Take care

Can't have you feeling lonely. Currently having fun with electrics myself, so know how you feel. Hopefully see you on the Solent in the not too distant future
