What a shame!!
I was on her for 2 months in the northern North Atlantic and in the Arctic circle. She could handle 35ft swells nicely!
When we finished we came into Portsmouth for the last few nights. She was good for 30kts and the wake was nearly as high as the deck under the heli pad. I joined the AIR FORCE and spent a lot of time on ships? Strange

She entered Portsmouth on time firing blanks from her cannons at the west bank, where pyrotechnics were simulating explosions on the blank while a spitfire simulated an attack from above flying past several times and doing barrel rolls!

She was escorted by a helicopter and another war ship.

Awesome!
