Hello Powerboat Level 2

Hello,

I have just passed the above qualification but do not own a boat.

I would like to gain experience somehow, and over the next few months take further courses, such as intermediate powerboat and day skipper.

Any suggestions to either cheap bareboat charter or companies willing to give experience?

There's no such thing as cheap RIB charter, although if you get down to the Isle of Wight you can hire RIBs from Bembridge Marine at slightly less eye watering prices than some of the others.

You might find other people here though who might be happy to have you along as crew though which might be a start.

Suggestion: Join a sailing club that has fleet of RIBs and volunteer as a RIB driver. For example, Hayling Island Sailing Club.
