Hedge Rash!!

Hi All,
Sadly it was time to take the RIB home again as time to head back offshore to work. But thought I'd just share my latest addition, due to towing around the narrow Cornish lanes I often have to move across so the port side tube is touching/rubbing the hedge, to save the hedge rash (just look at a local cornish car!!) I've made a sacrificial cover out of heavy duty PVC to protect the tube. It clips onto the D'rings and trailer, it's remarkable stable too and does't flap around but will still only be used for local runs.

Good idea. My black car shows up the Gorse bush scatches really bad after being forced into the side of the road on some of our narrow country roads up here.
Might get a few looks if I put a tarp on the side of it though

Hope to meet up one day - have to say went 6.8 but fully aware Cornwall is challenging for any rib on these narrow roads guess will have to keep driving it on the salty stuff

Hi Rick,
Be good to meet up sometime. If I'd been home I'd have brought it up to Plymouth for the Sail GP series but unfortunately I'm offshore, but home for the Tall Ships if they go ahead in August.

Both should be good events and barring any National lockdowns should go ahead from what i can see.

Should be one of the marshall team for the Sail GP - get a great view then

Falmouth will include a Scilly run for lunch on the 17th / 18th if the weather behaves!
