Handheld marine radio mount .

Advice please , having spent quite a lot on mount for new chartplotter ,,( scanstrut) I could do with a less expensive handheld marine radio mount for rib console . I think mobile phone mounts might not hold the extra depth of a marine handheld ?

I actually like it. Ideal if you are working a call and need to set the handheld down for a moment. The rest of the time, it would be best clipped to your person, IMHO

It would be more use on you...

Very true there was a seller on eBay of heavy duty moulder mounts but some hand held units have the same clip on the rear as a fist mic for a fixed unit for which mounts are easily found and ideal if using the hh as a back up for a failed fixed unit
