Interesting - is that a previous conversion from inboard to outboard?

I'll look forward to seeing progress on it.

Love it when a mini digger is used to extract the fuel tank. Quality!

It was an MOD trial boat I believe with a Yanmar running a Hamilton jet. It then had outboards fitted but the beds etc even the seacock was left in place! It’s hopefully a pair of Verado 200hp in the back once it’s finished.

That's a big old fuel tank. It looks to be about 400 litres and gives my 90 litre one tank envy.

Almost prepped and ready for painting. Hull has been stripped back to GRP then all the holes repaired with epoxy and glass. Last few bits to fill and then should be painted next week.

Your not gonna say that hull was sanded and prepped where its sat in the photo?
Nowhere near enough mess unless you have a very good clean up elf

Ha ha no it was mostly done outside. Did the repairs inside and the filling and final sanding. Then the apprentice was handed the broom!!

Send a message via Skype™ to jbretel
Nice effort - I'm toying with either a 24 or a 28 Arctic for my next boat - I currently have a Humber DivePro 7.5 with a 250 ETEC 1 - which flies and handles beautifully with a 5-Blade prop, but I want a Halmatic for stability, space and offshore Diving. I almost bought one from PacificRibs - but can't see their website any more - does anyone have a lead for Ex-MOD hulls or sellers of just hulls/tubes? Thanks, Jeremy :-)
