Goggles

Bought a pair of vented Cebe goggles, orange tinted lens, good for daytime stuff, excellent for keeping spray out of your face, these sit on a foam gasket which is comfortable and soft, the goggles are vented at the top and bottom and really do not fog up, the lens is a plastic material with a wide eleasticated strap to hold the goggles in place, I think they are ski goggles but give great eye protection from sea spray and waves hitting you in the face about 22euro a pair I find they keep the face that bit warmer for all you winter ribbers gavin

Just for info :-

If you have the money (£39.99) for oakley H2o goggles take a look at www.devamarine.co.uk/offers.htm

They are also doing some special offers on security gear, is any of this stuff e.g. wheel clamps, a good price?

Gavin if you are talking to me which I guessed you were, as nobody else is here, well errr, errr I don't actually have a RIB, (but may get a SIB) it is a long story but I ended up getting a new Glastron Cuddy sports boat. I tried to pull a 'flanker' on the wife with a quick purchase of a RIB for my son (and me), but that went Tit's up having some thinking time she realised there would be no overhead cover in the UK weather on a RIB for our 1yrd old, she made me get a cuddy boat. Had the RIB sale gone through as quick as I wanted I would have pulled it off anyway thats that, after she has been sea sick a few times and stops going out on it, there will be a good bargain 50mph Cuddy for someone and I can get my new RIB

Buy a SIB and me and Keith will see to it that all is forgiven!

Incidentally Mr Hart, that bloody tune from that email is stuck in my head! I'll be having words with you about that in Orkney!

I'm up for that, but Keith seems a bit scary I had a look at his website, makes my visit to Draculas Castle and the curse put on me for lying on his (Dracula's) bed, then getting bitten by a wild dog in the castle, like a picnic!

I ended up critically ill after the rabies injections and given 5 - 7 weeks to live that was Feb this year I am still alive (obvious I know) but I don't know how many lives I have left!!

Certainly makes you see life in a different way

Gavin
You started off on the subject of goggles so I will go back to them
I think gogg;es are great and use them a lot . I bought my ski goggles in a shop in the Polish mountains during a winter holiday and you should have seen the shop assistant's face when I said I wanted them for use at sea. My wife wears specs and puts the goggles over them so if need can use both hands to hold on without any worry of loosing her specs.
