Much better....far less likely to fall of at just the wrong time.

m hoping for a late morning blast for an hour in my SR .

Just noticed the wires - is there no chance of running them inside the frame ?

Couldn't you put the battery isolator under the console. Even "waterproof" ones have a short shelf life when exposed. They tend to fail at the worst moment.
