Gasket material

Hi all, what do you recommend gasket material wise for the top of a under deck fuel tank?
The tank is fibre glass and the fuel pick up assembly is stainless.

I have made a temporary one out of neoprene but not overly happy about the thing.

I'm using separate tanks on the deck for fuel so at the moment any potential leakage is not a problem.
