fuel tank filler to be blocked

My console has been moved forward, and the console mounted fuel filler and breather are not in the passengers footwell.

I intend to block the orginal off at deck level (under deck built in fibreglass tank)
and then move the filler to the rear inspection hatch, and mount filler on aft seat.

Ive taken rubber hose off, and there is a flange left. What is petrol proof i can seal it up for life, so i can then glass over the top with epoxy. all the old adhesives appear to now struggle with modern day petrol

thanks gt

GT, Why don't you ask Mike Whitham from Whitham Glass Fibre. Osprey tanks are GRP, built in house by Mike. I am sure he would be happy to advise. If you wanted to get the work done he would also be the ideal man to speak to !

Chris

Yes its an option, it is a scorpion that also has fibreglass tank, laminated in derakane, but I have riead some dodgey stuff about increased ethanol impacting fibreglass.

Thanks
