Fuel Protests

Happened Poole this evening
Fisherman and other commercial boats turned out 50 or so boats

Lets have More

Understand there could be few fuel protests planned to "coincide" with the RB08 in next few weeks, namely Milford Haven and Lowestoft but sure Inverness will rise to the occasion if MH is successful.

I fully support the full time fisherman and commercial operators who are prepared to take this action. Yes, It can be inconvenient but trying to outrun blockades as happened in Cherbourg defeats the point and benefits that everyone is possibly going to gain.

I hope that the RB08 has alternative plans in place and the event runs smoothly but if the planned protests do go ahead there will definitely be some high level media attention.
