Free beer and ribbing

Hi chaps

I have posted this on the stolen section but hope you will all see it here too.

Had a RIB stolen from Lymington, I have narrowed it down to Tuesday or Tuesday night.

The boat was a 7.8 Ballistic with twin Mercury 225 Optimax's. It has loads of gear on including Radar, GPS, and all sorts.

The boat is all in black so is very distinctive. It was stolen on a DeGraff multi roller trailer.

Obviously have informed all local marinas and coastguard and Police and hope they come up with something.

If anyone has ANY ideas on how to track the boat please please call me. A reward of lots of beer and ribbing is on offer. (assuming we get it back otherwise just beer)

I will post pictures etc tommorow.

Any info please call 07979 533722

Thanks

Stuart

There are a lot of illegal going on's between Ireland and Wales at present so it might be a "Stolen to order runners boat". Best to inform the Police / Coastguard in that sort of region. If it does show up it will proberbly be wrecked after running up some remote beach to discharge it's cargo. so you will get the insurance payout anyway. Alan P

Send a message via MSN to Alex Brown
I am out on the Cleddau all day tomorrow by Milford Haven so will be able to see all the boats passing up and down - will keep a general eye out.

There are a couple of Police boats sailing from here on a daily basis, so I would assume or hope that they are already informed.

Good luck with getting it back.

Your man in North Wales

I will keep an eye out in North Wales, we have a big problem with smuggling at the moment along this coastline.

Anglessy is a big problem, if you phone N wales police they have a maritime coastal unit (RIB featured in RIB international last year).

Visited them long before I ever knew the Solent existed! Fantastically remote area. I'd probably be even more impressed now having lived in the south of England for a few years.

Now just a thought - I've put H20's and the other guy's numbers into my mobile as "stolen RIB" so I can get in touch if I see a big RIB with twin Optimaxes being towed or used.

Thanks all I have informed the Irish coast guard. Does anyone have any no's for the French or the Channel Islands?

If anyone works in the haulage industry or on the roads at night we would appreciate you mentioning it to your colleagues ect.

Thanks

David

Thanks everyone.

Would be great if we could get this nation wide if not internationaly in the next week or so. I can e-mail people a stolen poster to put up in their local clubs, fuel barges, mariners, charndelers ect.

My mailing address at work is

David.g.williams@intel.com

Please help!

Do we have anyone that could contact other European countries for us. We not it is a long shot but worth a try. Say contact the coast guard or the authorities and ask them to keep their eyes / ears open. We have informed the British and Irish so far, they are both taking this very seriously.

This boat will do 50 + knots with a ton of deck load so I am sure you all realise how serious this could be if a black boat like this fell into the wrong hands.

Thanks for you help everyone

David
