Foldable RIBs

I don't want to tow a RIB as I don't want to be continually worrying about it getting nicked but I was thinking it might be fun to have one of these foldable RIBs in my motorhome garage. Just for pottering about in lakes and maybe the Med.

What is the general opinion about foldable RIBs?

They haven't been around long, but seem to be developing a bit of a following. You might find that a more conventional inflatable will do the job for you a lot cheaper, but if you fancy a folding RIB and it fits your budget then no reason not to go for it.

Foldable ribs have been around for 20 + years but no one has got the product right yet .They always seem to be to fragile and or to expensive . I suspect that John is correct a good inflatable possibly with an air deck would be more suitable and take up less space in the camper garage
