Hello martin.

Until recently I had the exact same rib. Great little boat, I was sorry to see it go.

Anyway. Mine had a 25hp yamaha on the back and this was just about ok for wakeboarding and towing a tube (with a low pitch prop). The boat can handle up to a 30hp, but I would imagine not a 4 stroke due to the extra weight. You will need a long shaft outboard too.

Hope that helps.

Tim

Flatacraft

Well I have managed to buy an old Johnson 35 longshaft at a boat jumble.

WOW, what a great little boat. We got over 20knt's with two people on board.
Great fun.

Thanks for the help.

Martin.

mine used to go like a rocket with a 25 on and a higher pitch prop! Just don't try and go too slowly in even a small chop, it just poors over the front as I'm sure you have discovered!
