just wondered what to use ie;bolts or s/tappers,what washers (metal or plastic)

No expert but for me i used double sided 3mm foam gasket to stick in place and give a little cushioning ,then i used st st m5 instrument heads tapped into the console ,maybe better option might be number plate plastic screws and nuts ?

M6 socket dome bolts with a tap washer or nylon washer between screen n consol that little gap allows water. N dirt to fall through. Also tap washer seals the fixing hole

Trust me I've fitted more than most and made hundreds

I used to use number plate screws but altered my method
