The oars are working very well. I think I have fixed the problem (debris in the fuel pump) but having the oars is excellent. I have found that if I sit on the centre console seat looking at the rear of the boat I can row very effectively.

On a 3.4 m boat I think oars should be supplied as standard

Hi Dennis , if you need the added confidence of knowing there is a tow avail ,then I will happily meet up on the orwell and follow you about for an hour or so to give the engine a thorough test out , PM me if you need , no cost to me as I am paid up for the season at levington slipway and happy to help
