I don't intead to use any oil treatment anyway. I 've just asked you guys IF YOU use silicon oil for your tubes. Personally I'm involved with ribs for the last 20 - 25 years and I NEVER used such a treatment. As you know these kind of products did not exist back then. But you see I live in Greece and the climate conditions here are far more hotter and sunny than yours, plus the fact that someone stars using these chemicals saying " what a nice looking boat that I' ve made and so...", so I thought that I've better ask a few people before I do anything. So that's the whole point. Thanks for the advice. Michael
