Fibreglass boxes

Just wanted to know if there's a supplier of waterproof deck mounted boxes that I could keep tools, supplies and my battery in.

As my battery is just strapped to the deck, thought it would be nice to mount it in an enclosure that could be removed at the end of the day, perhaps with a seat cusion on to provide extra seating.

Can't make one as I haven't got the time! Any suggestions?

Yep, not very cool but oh so practical. Get a plastic fish box. Strap it down and put an upholstered lid on it. Very useful for ropes, 5lts oil bottles and all sorts of etc. Unfortunately, they're not water tight but they come in various shades and they're usually free. What more could you ask for?

Fibreglass Boxes

Try and follow the products link, and then marine.

I don't know if this will be of interest to you, on my boat I use removable dry boxes. They are not fibreglass, but they are tough plastic and fully waterproof, Ive been using them for four years now without breakage.

You can also remove them at the end of the day and stack them in the back of the car so bits don't get nicked at night etc.

The last time I ordered some they were £22 each, and come in many colours.

They also do various other enclosures/boxes etc - may be worth a call.

Hope this helps
