Fancy and expensive Lifejacket

Just seen this. Sounds good but very expensive. I was expecting the EPIRB to be thrown in at that price.

Anyone use it or got a (lot) better deal.

We have got a sample and have tried them on like it am planning to have on board my boat.

We are doing flotation test tomorrow with the Icelandic RNLI

Think our prices will be somewhat lower... will do calculations tomorrow

Try this company

http://www.seasafe.co.uk/

They made us jackets with life jackets build in, epirbs etc. They are hand made for your specific requirements.

They are a brillaint company and I would thoroughly recommend them and that has nothing to do with the fact that my father is involved with the company .

Martin

P.S. they are not cheap but I am sure they can make something appropriate to the type of boating you want to do.

hmm - big tube and mouthpiece looks like the emergency breathing set up on my old Fenzy a.b.l.j. diving lifejacket I had years and years ago (deep in nostalgia again!)and is mounted on the top of the jacket as those were in order to dump air on ascent - but that was inflated from my air cylinder and I suspect this is CO2 inflated. Wouldnt want to suck instead of blow if thats the case. We had a lot of big lifejackets that seemed to have fallen off a lorry around here at one time-trouble with big jackets and double cylinders is that they get so heavy no one wants to wear one all day in a leisure situation, And if its still in the bag in the locker it aint gonna help anyone.
