extra long waterproofs needed

Hi
2meter man requires new waterproofs.
I am looking for recommendations for supplier for either extra long waterproofs or a recommendation for made to measure. I am not looking for cheap. after all we need these things to work. I spoke to people like Musto at boat show, was treated like they dont realise people are taller these days.
Thanks Paul

Compass Marine www.compass24.com do lots of stuff up to XXXL which might do the trick.

Your best bet would be to order a drysuit from a company that does made-to-measure. Then it will fit properly and you'll actually stay dry!

Long clothes

Paul

I suspect what you need are long clothes. I often find the xxxl clothes are for really fat people. JKs idea is a good one.

In the past few years I ( 6ft 4) have had luck with Henry Loyd and Musto.

I have also been very fortunate in being able to get multiple purchases in Holland where they appreciate the situation with tall people.

Watch out for Dubarry who do an extra long sea boot. The extra height in the boot compensates for the lack of length in the leg.

the high and mighty shop in Knightsbridge might also be able to give you some pointers.

best of luck.

I'm 6'6" and got me self a Typhoon front opening breathable drysuit 5 years ago for Parabuggying, it's great for the Boat too. Got wear patches in all the right places and was much cheaper than the competion. Do a search on Google for a local supplier. 5 out of 5 .

Actually, thinking about the jackets that I own, the best I have found is Douglas Gill who were the only ones with sleeves long enough for me. Musto were hopeless.

I'm 6' 3'' and a tad over 16 stone, and just under 2m from wrist along the shoulders to wrist!!! Henri LLoyd and Gill are the only one that seem to fit apes

thanks for info so far

Gentlemen

Thank you for the various comments.
I already have a Ravenspring made to measure drysuit.
I believe that having the choice of drysuit or waterproofs gives additional flexability.
The problem with all XXXL is that they are for fat people/huge chest&waist
I am tall and slim.
I will try the Gill stuff (thank you john) still hoping someone will advise on made to measure.

Thanks Roguewave

Hi
Thank you for the very generous offer re your waterproofs.
On the basis that the Musto kit all seemed to short, I will holdout for something longer.

Thanks again

Paul, look at Robin Hood Watersports on the net : http://www.roho.co.uk/

They have just made dry suit for my better half at the same price for an off the pag and its better quality. Good turn around ('bout 6 weeks but may be faster now!) They do a made to measure guide then ring you to discuss your requirments. If you speak nicely to Sally and make her smile you may get it quicker... The offcuts from my wifes suit might be enough to make your trousers she's only 4' 9"
